Early Years Teaching Assistant
based at The Florence Nightingale Academy
32.5 hours per week All Year Round
NJC Grade 4 - £20,852 to £23,484        

The Florence Nightingale Academy are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to work in our bright and stimulating Early Years Foundation Stage.  

The ideal candidate will:

  • be an excellent Early Years Practitioner with good knowledge of the EYFS framework and characteristics of effective learning
  • have an understanding of learning through play and current play-based research
  • be enthusiastic and inspirational
  • work well as a member of a team and under their own initiative
  • be forward thinking and proactive in their approach
  • have high expectations of all children and be committed to promoting inclusion
  • have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • have previous experience of working with children aged 3-5 years
  • be adaptable to support across school where needed
  • Mentor and provide support for apprentice TA’s.
